Maras Moray Half Day Tour
Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM
Drive to Moray, which takes approximately 1.5 hours
Explore the archaeological site of Moray, an Inca complex consisting of circular terraces that were used for agricultural experiments. You will have the opportunity to learn about the Inca’s impressive agricultural knowledge and techniques.
Drive to the nearby town of Maras, which is known for its salt mines. The drive takes about 20 minutes.
Visit the salt mines of Maras, which have been in use since pre-Inca times. You will see how the local people extract salt from the mountain and process it in small pools, which create a unique and picturesque landscape.
Return drive to Cusco, which takes approximately 1.5 hours.
Back in Cusco we are aproximately between 3:00 pm.
